FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a method for managing the files associated with your website. cPanel includes a preconfigured and easy-to-use FTP server. If you have a hosting service, your FTP access should already be set up. You can access the system via FTP using your cPanel account username and password.
Follow these steps to create a new FTP account in cPanel:
- Log in to your cPanel account.

Find the "FTP Accounts" option in the "Files" section.

Fill in the following fields:
- Login: Enter the username for the FTP account.
- Password: Create a strong password.
- Security: A password strength indicator will be displayed.

Directory: By default, a folder will be created inside
public_html/username
. You can modify it if needed. -
Quota: Set a data transfer limit for the account (optional).
- Click "Create FTP Account" to complete the process.
Once the account is created, you can use it with an FTP client like FileZilla to efficiently manage your files.
