Changing Email Password in Webmail

  1. Log into Webmail:

    • Access your Webmail login page.
  2. Navigate to Password Settings:

    • If you are using Roundcube:
      • Select Webmail Home on the left sidebar.
    • On the default Webmail page:
      • Click on your email account in the upper-right corner, then select Password & Security.
  3. Change Password:

    • Enter a new password in the provided fields.
    • Click Save to update your password.


Changing Email Password in cPanel

  1. Log into cPanel:

    • Go to your cPanel login page.
  2. Navigate to Email Accounts:

    • Under the Mail section, click on Email Accounts.
  3. Manage Email Account:

    • Locate the email account for which you want to change the password.
    • On the right side of the email account, click MANAGE.
  4. Update Password:

    • Type in a new password for the email account.
  5. Save Changes:

    • Click UPDATE EMAIL SETTINGS at the bottom to save your new password.

Alternative Method in cPanel (User Manager)

  1. Log into cPanel:

    • Access your cPanel login page.
  2. Navigate to User Manager:

  3. Find and Edit Email Account:

    • Use the search field or filter options to locate the specific email address you want to modify.
    • Click on the Edit link next to the email address.
  4. Change Password:

    • Enter a new password in the appropriate field.
  5. Save Changes:

    • Scroll down and click Save at the bottom to update the password.
