Prerequisites

A USB drive of at least 8 GB (or more, depending on the OS).

The ISO image of the operating system you want to install (Windows, Linux, etc.).

Rufus, which you can download from its official website.
Steps to create the bootable USB

Download and run Rufus

No installation is needed, just run the
rufus.exe
file.

Insert your USB drive

Make sure it doesn't contain important files, as it will be formatted.

Select the USB drive in Rufus

In the “Device” section, choose your USB drive.

Choose the ISO image

Click "Select" and browse for the ISO file of the operating system.

Configure the settings

Partition scheme:

MBR → For BIOS/Legacy systems.

GPT → For UEFI systems.

File system:
-
FAT32 → Compatible with UEFI.

NTFS → For files larger than 4GB (usually for Windows).

Start the process

Click "Start" and confirm the warning messages.

Wait for the process to complete (it may take a few minutes).

Done
-
Once finished, your USB will be ready to boot the system from the BIOS or boot menu.
