How to set up auto-responders in DirectAdmin

When managing email accounts, it may be necessary to configure a read receipt or an auto-responder. Follow these steps to set it up in DirectAdmin :

  1. Access your DirectAdmin account. You can access it from your web browser at:

    https://yourdomain.com
    

    Be sure to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.


  2. In the Email Manager section, locate and click on the "Autoresponders" option.



  3. Select "Create Autoresponder".

  4. Fill out the form with the following details:

    • Responder Address:  : Enter the email address for which you want to schedule the auto-response.
    • Subject prefix: Specify the subject of the automatic message.
    • Content-Type: Select if your message includes HTML code or just plain text.
    • Reply Frecuency:   Select the time interval between autoresponses.
    • Responder Message: Write the text or content of the message.
    • Send a CC to: Check box if you want to cc another address and add the email adress on the box.


  5. Once you have completed the details, click on "Save" Your auto-responder will be successfully configured.
