How to set up auto-responders in cPanel?

When managing email accounts, it may be necessary to configure a read receipt or an auto-responder. Follow these steps to set it up in cPanel:

  1. Access your cPanel account. You can access it from your web browser at:

    https://cpanel.yourdomain.com
    

    Be sure to replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.


  2. In the Email section, locate and click on the "Autoresponders" option.



  3. Select "Add Autoresponder".

  4. Fill out the form with the following details:

    • Character Set: Select UTF-8 (default).
    • Interval: It is recommended to set it to 24 hours. If you want an automatic response to be sent every time you receive an email from the same sender, leave this field blank.
    • Email: Enter the email address for which you want to schedule the auto-response.
    • Subject: Specify the subject of the automatic message.
    • HTML: Check this box if your message includes HTML code.
    • Body: Write the text or content of the message.
  5. Once you have completed the details, click on "Create/Modify". Your auto-responder will be successfully configured.
